Fernando Zapico better known as Z@p, a rare combination of a producer and a DJ who manages to create timeless pieces of electronic music, while effortlessly shining as a selector.

Hailing from Uruguay, a grail of modern dance music – his infatuation with the club culture first started in Montevideo in the early 2000s. Since then, his passion and commitment has led him to become a key player of both Phonotheque and Cartulis Music, two institutions that are continually pushing things forward.

Along with that and frequent appearances at clubs globally, he continues to raise the bar by consistently putting out tracks that music lovers undoubtedly treasure, releasing under some of the most influential labels of our time such as My Own Jupiter, Time Passages, Cabaret Recordings and his own label Thoughtforms.
